Stem is same length as stock glass ones. Been using the larger bowl end but not noticing too much different heat wise than glass ones. I feel it cools the vapor sufficiently.

There's a slight difference not sure if woulda even noticed if wasn't looking for it. Seems the wood is just a tad warmer. There's something about wooden stems I enjoy more than the glass ones. The wood just feels better against the lips than glass imho.
