I have a pyrex pie plate that fits into my vac chamber and have done full purges on it a few times and just an initial vac session before scraping too. The further the oil is purged the harder it is to scrape but a little heat helps that out.

As @Bouldorado stated full vac up here is about 25 hg. Depending on the size of the run I either blast straight up to full vac or if it's a large run I have to slowly walk it up or it muffins into the lid and walls of the chamber.
