There doesn't seem to be a general Mobius thread yet - I think they deserve one! I love my Ion Matrix, and hope to have some dirty pictures coming soon :) However, I also have a question. Anyone else have a Matrix, and see lines of oil along the center downstem/tube?

OTA You are right, and I think it's tough to say if something will fit perfectly or not. Glass is never 100% the same. A lot of my connections fit deeper/less deep than others so I suppose it's up to the individual to decide how tight a connection they would like. I guess that feeling itself...

Did he really help? That sounds like yet another flippant response. :/ Last night - I was looking at the Solo - on the bottom etc - nowhere does it say "Made In China". You would think this company was a bit different.

I believe it will fit, but awkwardly. Since it's not tight, it can slip - if holding it. A little strip of the tubing next to the mouthpiece of the Solo stem, however, can create a better non-slip connection.

I can try to measure the 7th floor tubing when I get home (ten hours or so, my apologies). This is the "Replacement Hose" I have used over the original Solo Stems. It fits super tight. I have used it as a simple GONG adapter to 14mm. LINK I am betting the people in the SSV or DBV thread...

You are correct! That should be some good stuff too :) If you let it sit in a shallow pan, by the window or outside (cover it with a cloth to make sure no dust/cathair/smurfs get into it), it should evap completely. If you get some white spots at the end, that is water that hasn't evaporated...

The SSV tubing fits perfectly over the Solo stem. If you want, and you live in the US, I can send you some for free, since I bought a couple feet and used only and few inches.
