Defective body, most likely. Hold the clicker down and see if it still turns off, or if the light goes blue. If the light goes blue while holding it down it means it's the clicker that's broken. This is the test they'll ask you to do when you submit your warranty request

It is definitely good for conserving, compared to my PAX or even my EQ. Grasshopper is about equivalent, but I've lost my love for it mostly now. I use it maybe 1/10 times with the rest going through the Vapcap

I don't think it's really fair to expect Hopper Labs to lie and break the law so you can save some money. With the constant warranty needs, the last thing they need is to get in legal trouble and have to waste money on that.

I am thinking, as hard and stuck in as they are that wouldn't work, but I haven't tried it. I know that trying to run a sharp tipped tool over them to remove them requires a lot of effort though. But I don't really care that it's there, it has never affected the function of my grinder before

You sure they're pieces of anodization? I have similar looking places in my grinder, but they're just bits of weed that got caught and crushed and compressed into the threading. Shit is a pain to remove

I don't know. I don't think so, without a lot of bending and widening, they're so thin and the stash hole is so wide, I don't think things would line up properly
