The Tempest by Mad Heaters & Phatpiggie

I was being really cautious when I did this as as I never vape whole buds - but - I might start to now… its definitely easier than grinding for a quick small bowl I give up… I’ll post the video in a few minutes

Appreciate you trying to explain it in more detail mate, just trying to understand your language use to better explain things myself in future. Separately… I realise most of my bowls are done with latent heat as I tend to do multiple back to back bowls, I decided to catch 4 bowls in a row just...

I have to admit I am finding it hard holding back :) I want the one that is "portable" or for watching tv on the couch to have a small footprint.. but my collection of vapes is smaller than my girlfriends gaming collection by a very long shot thought

Have you tried using the direct tube instead of the helix tube? A week before I found the Tempest a I bought a Simrell MVS and I have used it maybe 3 times.... I haven't even put the Tempest bowl/cap on it because I like the Tempest one so much.. that kills me the most, the MVS and Tip that...

I am looking forwards to the final parts and temperature control but don't let that fool you... I have packed away all my dynavaps I also put away my Freight Train Pro as in my testing, the same amount of herb in the FT Pro as the Tempest, the FT Pro can still leave a green ring or at least...

Respect that. @Brenyo question, people wanting to use concentrates, the end goal is to have a MAD heaters concentrate solution? I managed to not pack my bowl properly and a bowl of herbs, with a drop of wax, fell on the ball screen and… it took a while for it to stop smoking, then for me to...

I’ll be watching for them, you do nice work. That is interesting, I’m glad you’re getting the experience you are looking for :) how are you finding the flavour when using the tempest? What about the clouds are they comparable to what you use to use - or better (subjectivity)? @Brenyo just...

yep, when full orange it still heats but at a much slower rate, designed to maintain the banger/glass at a specific temperature - simply put it pulses the heating element when full orange, you can hear it come on and off.

I was playing around with a bunch of different heat up timings and the longer I would heat the Tempest (aka the hotter I would take it) even though I could get the roast darker - It would be at the cost of flavour and there would be no real benefit effects wise by taking it that far. ... and to...

I wonder, how long would it take for the tempest to cool if you heated the tempest until the visual indicator’s top mark and just let it cool down naturally.

This is what Brenyo said about heating with the wand to clarify I don't really feel like I get that long of a session, most of the time its less than 30 seconds i'm drawing on my bowl - or 2-3 breaths if I am in a clearing mood. May I ask who has the long sessions you are talking about? and...

I'm using the one by Ed's TNT here its a 14mm as my J-hooks and Prophet are 14mm, the actually fit for Tempest is the standard Dynavap 8mm @bhasma I found this quote from another thread but is this the sort of thing you where trying to explain in your previous posts? That is temperature is...

Thank you, your closing remarks were spot on mate. I think that the key thing is that the Tempest has flexibility and multiple ways to use it which other devices struggle to balance so many different use cases in the one device. I agree I can heat the titanium stem to the point it’s hot to...

I wanted to check how my AVB was after you comment about getting better performance by moving the mesh to the half bowl setting. I am pretty satisfied with the roast I’m getting with the way I’m using it at the moment. I definitely could push things further but it’s more then enough that I’m not...

I know a couple of Australians who loved the Anvil who are going to do a review of the tempest and I also know they are mostly impartial so I am looking forward to that as he got me onto the Anvil. I have spoken to a few others that fit into the sponsorship category (T&J) so I am interested to...

If this is the wrong place for this let me know and I’ll move it @RedZep watched TableTopBong on youtube? I was going through my stuff and collecting all the vapes I want to re-home and realized I have two "Mega Globes" sitting around… Drag race? I wondered if I could get my timing just...
