you just missed it: black friday 20% off, free shipping. you might have to wait a while before they do anything like this again. I'd get a Ti woody single crown. the OG's cheaper but they're fragile. plus you'd get the new improved Ti tip with the woody.

I think it's possible that both methods you describe, because they slow down the inhalation, allow the weed to cook in the chamber longer, which increases the density of the vapor. another way of doing this is to wait about 30 sec. after it reaches temperature before vaping - I don't always have...

I hear ya. I so hate it when people improve on an already-great product. damn them. (I just posted on the mighty forum: someone's going to India, doesn't want to smoke out of a chillum, knows that bringing his mighty would probably mean losing it or getting it stolen, so he was thinking he'd be...

fwiw: you could buy a dynavap Ti woody: all you need is a flame of some sort, and they're the size of a large-ish cigarette. you don't even need a grinder. I'd take that over a chillum or bhang any day.

thanks squiby! (knew you'd come through) - I have a triple jet. it seems like the flame is so big you can't really focus on 1/3 of the cap - the whole cap gets heated (maybe I need to pull the torch back some?) - I think your comment about mouthpulling too hard makes sense - I was getting...

I tried out my new Ti woody yesterday. I'm sure there's a learning curve (or I could go back and read 300+ pages), but you guys are so helpful I figured I'd just ask the longtime owners for their suggestions: - as everyone says, I got huge hits - but I was only getting 1 per heat cycle. I got...

one of the first things I did when I got mine was stuff it to the max, then take out the load and weigh it: .07g

the crafty has far more reliability issues than the mighty. the odds are that you'll have no problems, at least for a couple years. the general consensus seems to be that crafty's single-battery design is harder on the battery than mighty's dual-battery.

pretty funny. I'll never look at mine the same way again.

it's not hard to imagine that market pressure will make them do it. if some other vape comes along that truly equals the mighty/crafty performance but has user-replaceable batteries, S&B won't really have much choice - or they'll lose market share in a big way. I'd bet they're already working on it.

I was able to get very nice weed in Kerala - the famous 'Kerala green' - which isn't too far south of Hampi. I personally wouldn't bring such a nice vape to India; it'd just be one more thing to worry about getting stolen.

they usually come already charged, if not 100%. from what I've heard, the bad old days of batteries needing to be fully discharged before recharging (I think it was called 'memory effect'?) are history. I think most people just recharge when it gets low, and aren't seeing any downside to that...

soon to be Ti woody owner here... it seems that a lot of people are using filters of some sort (cotton, hemp, regular screens) in addition to the CCD, esp. if they're not using a bong. do people find that using only the CCD allows too much particulate matter through?

it comes with basic instructions. if you decide to get into more advanced technique, you can find some great posts here from squiby.

    Which would you choose?

I'm not familiar with the swift, but I have a mighty - and love it: cool, tasty vapor; total temperature control (no smart phone needed), no stirring ever. the main thing to mention is that it's a 'session' vape: better to finish the bowl in one session, not take a hit or 3, then come back...

    Vaping and Memory Loss

in a rather strange twist on this subject, the strain called 'old toby' was created by a guy who wanted to treat his memory loss (which wasn't - as far as I know - due to pot use). I've only tried it a couple times, but it was unusually clear-headed - the high seemed to be all 'body', no 'head'...

does more vapor production equal more of the good stuff entering the body?

and isn't it possible that 1 big cloud hit = 2 less visible cloud hits (or something like that)? if you're going to experiment, how about vaping an equal amount of the same weed, once maximizing clouds - however you do it (type of vape or temperature or whatever), and once minimizing clouds (I...

does more vapor production equal more of the good stuff entering the body?

the MFLB instructions say that exhaling big clouds of vapor isn't a good thing - the optimal scenario is essentially exhaling nothing, meaning all the vapor stayed in you. makes sense to me.
