The screens in the heatport are very tough. You will not dislodge them. Pick at it with a toothpick to get the little crust off the screen, then tip it over and shake or blow it out with compressed air. Those screens are in there for the duration.

Stealth, thanks for the comments on looks and size and everything else. As you recall, that wood was labeled "Unknown" as I do not know the species. I do remember working it and it had a wood smell different than anything in the past, another confirmation it was something never turned by me...
Stu, glad you are happy with that Redwood. They do seem to be real pleasers. Thanks for the pic and the comments.
Before I put the Abysmal stuff up, I tested them only by ohming them, ie, making sure the resistor was close to spec and properly hooked to the output plug. Today I thought I...
Since I am one of the two log vape manufacturers that was mentioned by Sessnet, via hearsay, in a negative way(then deleted), I will make a short comment.
The CRZ is safe and efficient to use, period. I will put the safety and efficiency of our log vape up against any other vape and be proud...
How would this be for the first update of the day?
Total sales $1080 starting at 3:22 PM til 9:50 PM, 6 1/2 hours. That includes a bubbler and some small stuff that I included in the tally, a couple orders not yet paid but will when contacted later today.
$1080 less shipping(est) $90 and Paypal...
HOLY SHIT! Now that was a real quickie for sure! Thanks to all for participating in the Abysmal Bennie. It will take me a while to sift through what went on yesterday evening and get everything shipped. The old units will go first and anything else assembled will also head out soon. The new CRZs...
@Stealth....yes it functions. Properly is questionable as the two old squares are Blued Ponderosa Pine. Plenty of pine pitch for extra flavor. Both over ten years young.
The wood is kinda like an old mans wood. Soft but functional....mostly........
Ponderosa Pine is a soft wood. When we started...
TheDude, yes a bad transformer or broken transformer output wire as NYC pointed out. Email me for a deal on the VV PS we are offering.
OK, here are some Abysmal Bennie group shots. These will be going up tomorrow. Some are old brass Zaps or retro-ed with SS to fit brass stems. A couple are...
Learn that one with a smile Will. She is right too as those PS's are overkill unless you want to run 4 or more Zaps on it.
We're back up.
Order of business:
Finish shipping a bunch of Zaps which includes a trip to the PO, over 20 miles. Be done by 5:30 Pacific.
Put up the new CRZs on the site...
Will, that is a very good power supply with the voltage coming out both output plugs, not one. The black thingy with two 1/4" banana plugs coverts those two output plugs into a switching circuit with the foot pedal being the switch. My advice is to get two 1/4" banana plugs to attach to the end...
Jeppy, our power cord is designed for the type of VV PS that uses one port for the switch and one port for power. Many of the Tattoo machine power supplies work that way. The PS you linked which was the first one I bought, supplies the power from the TWO output plugs/terminals, one + and one -...
Zapville still down is right. We are in contact with command central and got this...."JustHost upgraded the server. Obviously something is screwed up............(and).......
It seems that the database users were not migrated with the rest of the server..."
Whatever that means, nobody gets to...
Yes, the website is down this morning. I even got up early to get some new stuff up and have a big day planned for "the back room" at aromazap.com. I have sent word to my guy. It is in his hands now as I have no clue at all about such things.
In the meantime, I'll get pictures done and edited so...
Thanks for the bubbler comments Panic and mom. They are pretty special and made by a real pro. Glass is very popular these days so some common sizes, like 14 mm straight GonG tubes are getting harder to get, alas, some prices go up. Speaking of 14 mm GonG straight tubes, I did get a few this...
Bubblers up and up in price. My cost went up and I had them low to start with. Still a good deal for a quality hand made product you do not find in the shops. I upped the holder a little too as I am getting more time in them than planned. They have to be individually fit to each bubbler due to...
Good Friday morning!
Refreshed and invigorated here in Zapville after a part day off yesterday. A day off now and then, not really planned, does wonders for the attitude.
Big day today. Final parts for making the VV Power Supply power cord are due in today. USPS due so that could also mean...
sessnet, roughly 2" x 4" for the finished piece. I need a little more than that to start. I did PM you re: your question last night and early this AM. I can make them a little smaller than that but not by much.
Sorry for all the website "out of stock" stuff. Well, I really am happy, not sorry.
I...
Another quickie attempt. HA! Pat will laugh at that statement!
A little more on the VV. I do love these new ones. Smaller than the red flame version, power from one plug, not two. Voltage readout to the 100ths of a volt. They are reading about 1/4 volt high from actual, no big deal.
Proper plugs...
Just want to pop in and say thank you. Everybody who participated in this thread has and continues to help me get my VVPS going as it should.
I am more and more convinced every day that a log vape with a VV PS with digital readout is like apple pie and cheese. Just gotta go together.
I am always...
