Has anybody that had their firefly deemed defective like mine get a replacement yet? I got an email from the 9 days ago saying that they would be shipping a replacement out but still have not get ten anything. They had my firefly since 5/23.

Quick update on my warranty repair. They are deeming my unit defective and replacing it. So maybe there is a bad batch after all.

They had mine over the 10-14 day response time and all I get is the same generic answer that when its done being tested they will send me an Email on what was done.yeaterday they said it was being worked on but still don't know what's taking so long. Very disappointed in the return process so far.

My lid didn't seem to lay flat. You could lightly push it down bowl end and see it move. This did not happen on mouthpiece end.

I sent mine in and its now over the 14 days and havent heard anything yet. if i dont hear anything tomorrow I will have to call.

Just a quick update on my issue, ff has had mine for a week now but was told it takes 10-14 days before they come to a conclusion on the problem. Mine was returned due to lid issues. I'll report back once I hear anything new.

I'm totally hoping that it's just a defect and I'm sure they will rectify the problem. My use was very inconsistent and I do believe there is something going on with either the magnets or lid. If I press down on the mouth end there is no movement but on the bowl end there is visual movement. As...

Firefly was kind enough to have mine sent back for further evaluation. Mine has movement when I push down on the lid at the bowl end. Noticeable sound when pushed down compared to not. Will report back what they find.

Here is what I've found with my lid. While my ff2 is clean I take a draw and notice a difference in sound while pressing slightly down on bowl side of lid. This only happens on bowl side. You can actually see movement while pressing down. I've tried various positions and same thing. I don't know...

I have the same issue as far as a gap going down one side more then the other and they have me the same response.

I ordered the first day for a blue one and no shipping email here.

I think I may wait it out. The blue ones are stateside so I can't imagine it being much longer. My mighty can get me through.

I was one of the first to preorder according to the email. They said within ten days they will ship.

Umm because I have the damn email to prove it. The are offering a black one instead if I want it shipped Friday or else wait within tens days. Yah like I've got nothing better to do then to post fake info.

Wound up getting a case from vatra. It's the 8" double decker and it holds everything I need. Smell proof also. Thanks for the suggestions.
