The times that I do go solo I always use 1/3 full and the liquid pad ontop. I tried 2x without it and I don't think it performed as well (but it still worked). S&B actually advise you to use the liquid pad for partially filled loads (see the instruction manual).

Rather than drop out the hot capsule for a second session later, why not half pack a capsule and use a capsule liquid pad as a spacer? (Only downside being that you would need to carry more capsules).

    Discontinued The Grasshopper

Hi all, Just wanted to check in and give my long overdue review on the Stainless Steel Grasshopper that I’ve had ~3 months now. But firstly, I wanted to once again thank Vaporizer Wizard @BuzzDanklin and GHL for holding the contest. Do yourself a favour and check out the Vaporizer Wizard...

I tend to agree with you. I sometimes get lighter colour material than I used to in my arizer solo, but the effects are amazing in the volcano. Convection generally tends to have lighter colour ABV, but still full effects. 2 suggestions: Get the volcano ABV, pack an air stem with the volcano...

I have the apk that jcat posted, if that helps. It won't run on my device, I have updated my device SW several times since then. Might not support an older apk. Maybe decompile it... or do you need the source code? Maybe speak with @JCat he was the one who compiled the apk.

Hey @ligi any possibility of incorporating the developer options/service menu? Somone released an apk here that bypassed the password screen (can't remember if it was you). Also will you be releasing your watch apk? I can't believe S&B are being so lazy with their app... they should employ you!

Hey @huxley You could use the liquid pad ontop of your load. It will still let vapor through and it will act as a super fine screen. Or; As has been mentioned prior, you could use a fine screen (that is meant to be for the bottom of the chamber) and use it for the top. Although, for dust...

Yeah I tend to run 1-2 bags at lower temps without bubbler.... then I bump up the temp considerably and run it through the bubbler to finish off the bowl at higher temps. I think that's where the water setup shines; High temp. Don't be deceived by how smooth it is through water, at lower temps...

    FOB by Vaped

Looks very interesting! I can't keep up with vapes these days.... I bought a grasshopper thinking that was the ultimate discrete vape.... but I think this is even more discrete (when not in use) and more pocketable. Wonder what the battery life is like. If it's good this could be a winner...

It's called "Vaporizer control crafty". Works perfectly on all my android devices. I don't bother with the S&B app at all. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=org.ligi.vaporizercontrol Just goes to show that S&B are lazy AF and can't even update their app. Bit disappointed by this...

For me personally, I don't like to be tethered to a GPO (wall outlet). I usually have my water piece outside.... So I fill a bag and take it outside and use it outside. Also don't like the idea of being hunched over a table awkwardly each time I want a draw. It's actually for these 2 reasons I...

I'm using the planet vape easy valve water adapter. It just plugs into where the EV mouthpiece would normally go. Then the bag can be plugged into any 14mm or 18mm female water piece. I think this is great because it's more portable (take the bag to your water piece anywhere in the house, no...

I leave it plugged in, even if it gives the "too hot to charge" led warning lights... eventually when it cools down enough it will automatically start charging.

If you want to stop your herbs blowing around in the reducer chamber, (without using a capsule), try cap your load with a capsule oil pad (or a crafty oil pad). Or the capsule lid: Or if you ordered some spare reducer replacement fine screens: That should stop the material from blowing...

It looks like, by design, the reducer channels air into a narrower space (the reduced filling chamber). So the airflow rate, through that reduced area, should theoretically increase. Because the pump will still be pushing the same volume of air. Could theoretically mean quicker extraction. Is...

I think @UniqueCrafty is referring to the cooling unit screen. Which I am also curious about. I'd probably leave mine on regardless, just cruious to know. Got mine on order, just waiting for it to arrive, damn international shipping

Totally agree regarding the fine screen. The first Mod most crafty users do is swap out the cooling unit screen for a fine screen. Don't know what S&B were thinking. Regarding the race against time, when loading the bowl; Why not turn it on after loading the bowl? That's usually what I do... no...

The Nitecore D2/D4 is very popular here (depending how many bays you need 2 or 4). I got it because people confirmed it worked here and because the charge rate can be dropped to as low as 150ma (optional mode). Slower charge rates will be kinder to your battery. No issues with mine so far...
