Are you using it as a session vape (e.g. Sit down and finish a bowl dry in 10mins). Or are you just using it for a hit with cool down periods in between (e.g. >1 minute breaks in between hits)? I'm trying to ascertain if waiting between hits will let the tip cool down and perhaps the vapor...
