    Dynavap VapCap

I thought I'd update this part; I delivered to my dear old mother an M, torch, grinder, and a few dispensary samples a little over 2 weeks ago. She hasn't used her pipe since, and describes the experience as "wonderful", and mentions all the same things we praise; flavour, efficiency, quality...

    Dynavap VapCap

I have a question about my (hopefully soon to ship) new Omni: How tight is the threading which adjusts the airflow? More to the point, when spinning the unit over the torch flame, does the airflow adjustment tend to change? When heating my M, the mouthpiece end is nestled in my palm, with the...

    Dynavap VapCap

I had to bite on the sale. I've been so very impressed with the unthinkable efficiency of my M, that I had to grab an Omni, to see how much further I can reduce my dosage with the adjustable chamber. I also grabbed another M... for $20 I'd be foolish to not do so. The cap alone is worth that on...

    Dynavap VapCap

Well, TIL that you can combust without even getting the cap to click. Heating in a strong wind, my lighter was struggling, so I spun and heated and spun and heated until I smelled the smoke, but the cap never clicked. I think the wind was cooling the end of the cap as fast as the chamber was...

If you want to go way down the rabbit hole on battery info, look for Mooch's Blog and the encyclopedia of related battery tests on the E-Cigarette Forum, or various posts by the same author on Reddit.

    Micro-dosing

For me with the Dynavap M, if I scoop the herb into the tip and tamp lightly with my finger, the load is ~0.07g. If I use the M to suck up the herb from the grinder, and stop when it's full, with no tamping, the load is under 0.05g. There is a slight difference in the density of the vapour...

I saw that thread. Honestly while the idea of induction heating is obvious and mildly entertaining, in the context of what I really love about the M, having an electrical appliance to heat the cap is totally antithetical. Like putting makeup and stripper glitter on the Venus de Milo.

    Dynavap VapCap

Since 'M' arrived, it's become my absolute daily driver. My FF2 has been relegated to only two roles: if I want to have an indulgent, flavour-filled experience with a new strain, and, nightstand duty. The former because the FF2 does produce substantially more flavourful vapour than the M. The...

    Vaping and hydration habbits?

I squeeze a whole lemon into a 4l (gallon) jug of water and keep it in the fridge. I drink the whole thing each day. I also drink a fair bit of green tea, and occasionally beer, though vaping makes me not want to drink alcohol.

Those OmniVongs are so sexy, it makes me wish I used a water tool.

    Dynavap VapCap

The efficiency of this thing is off the charts. I ran that .04g of Super Lemon Haze through 4 full heat cycles - one loooooong draw from click to click each time - and I was in flight for 2 solid hours followed by eating about 9lbs of leftover Chinese food and a 3 hour couch nap. Because hey...

    Dynavap VapCap

The smallest load I can use that still fills the tip is .04g. It's very loosely filled, with no tamping. I'm almost tempted to spring for an Omni to see if it could work with .02 or less...?

    Dynavap VapCap

I just noticed this, and you're right. It's about .07g per load.

    Dynavap VapCap

The more I look at this little thing, the more genius it seems. My FF2 is like a smartphone for vaping. The DynaVap M is like a great hand tool; a chisel or knife for example. Simple, robust, cheap (relatively), effective. It's like the Glock of vapes. I would just LOVE an explanation on the...

    Dynavap VapCap

I just test drove the M: oh WOW. Nice small chamber - 0.7g to fill nicely, which is about 25% less than my FF2. What a nice, dense hit of vapour. I dumped the bud after 1 to have a look, and it's the most evenly, perfectly toasted of any vape I've used. Better than the FF2 and Air. I did...

    The Firefly 2 vaporizer

I'm struggling a little with my FF2. I'm generally very impressed with it, but no matter how tightly or loosely I pack the bowl, and no matter how hard or soft I draw, the herb doesn't heat at all evenly in the bowl. There is always an area at the bottom of the load, just off centre, which is...

    Dynavap VapCap

I've ordered 2 M's: I intend to get my 70 year old mother switched from smoking to vaping, so I ordered one for myself to learn this device, and one for her. My DD is a Firefly2. I have a couple of questions about the M: What is the best grind consistency for this vape? Coarser, or finer...

    How often do you grind?

I store my buds in mason jars with Boveda packs, and I've been wondering if there's a drawback to grinding up all the buds and storing them in that state, rather than grinding a little bit every day. I think it would also make it easier to mix strains - I have 2 very high CBD samples that I...

    The Firefly 2 vaporizer

Thanks. When my replacement shows up, I'm going to use the app interface on an older iPad running iOS 9.something. Perhaps the problem is in the FF2 app on Android 7... that version only released for my phone in Canada a few weeks ago, and it's a mess, TBH.
