Bottle tech seems nice, but I am really trying to prevent filters from ripping, and only way I found to prevent that is to do a pre-pressing. Maybe I should pre-press with less pressure, just enough so the filter does not expand or rip apart... Thx for sharing these tips and tricks

It is the square inches of the puck itself that matter in this case, not the plates themselves;) Or so me thinks... I have found there is a middle ground to be found in puck size, not so much in how big it is, but in how fat or flat you pre-press them. Pre-press to flat and the first press...

It does say it comes with a ceramic heating plate, can you check that? Also, it has 3 temperature settings, so that is actually good, considering almost all of the other wax pens still do not have this. Just the design...

Pre-pressing will help, oil slick papers will help too. But with oil slick papers you will need a filter or your puck will just expand and slide off the slick side of the paper... Do not double the paper, it will only leed to more ruptures and rosin running in the folds

I do like Absolom, the name of the caterpillar in Tim Burton´s version. About the combustion, maybe adding a screen in front of the load might help? It will be harder for the ´flame´ itself to make direct contact with the load and also robs it a bit of heat does making it harder to...

His answer: you will get a lot of clogging. He almost gave up on the filament when using 0,4 exclusively. Then a few weeks back he got the 0,5 and 0,6 nozzles, tried it again and was successful.

Some tips from my friend... He had trouble using 0,4 nozzle, when switching to 0.5 or 0.6 nozzle things went smooth....

In the same boat as @Likes2vape... How can one order one of these? And I never had a torch powered vape, but reading this thread has intrigued me... Specially with possibility that the 'off-grid' version might disappear...
