I would pick up some new batteries, not worth the risk. None of my batteries have ever gotten warm at all even during a long session.

I don't think the battery should get warm, at least my LGs and Sonys never do.

Does the unit get hot at all? How deep is the screen? Also is it basket style? I get the best results using it that way. Maybe try preheating a little longer. Also, what batteries are you using and are they fully charged?

Just ordered a sticky brick from puff it up, never owned a butane vape before. Any recommendations on good torch lighters? Will the one it comes with from puff it up suffice or should I look for something different?

Just ordered 4 of those Sonys also, I have only used the yellow HE4s. Interested to see how big of a difference they make. I haven't used any of my other vapes since I got my Milaana, it just fits all my needs so well.

That could be due to the cannabis you are using, I've been told by growers if it's not flushed properly it can give off a salty taste.

I don't know for sure this is just a guess, but it looks like those pv stems males are much shorter. The issue was the lip resting on the heater and damaging over time, so with it being shorter might not cause problems. I have never smelled glue in my unit.

This is exactly how I use mine, I get perfect extraction, no hotspots and I don't stir except maybe once at the end to try and get the last hit out. Also I find using a medium grind is better than grinding it really fine.

The vapor quality is amazing I use it dry and never have any issues even with the short stem. I don't have a mighty to compare to but it's night and day compared to my grasshopper.

I own an Evo and have used it once since I got my Milaana and prior to that it was my daily driver. Edit: Not saying it's replaced my Evo it's just so much more convenient to grab and run a couple bowls through. I'll use my Evo if I have friends over.

For what it's worth I haven't used my grasshopper since receiving my Milaana and I dont see using it anytime in the near future. The GH vapor quality is just terrible compared to my Milaana and battery life is brutal in comparison as well.

@Vape Dr. thanks for the tips! I am going to head to the guitar shop to pick a few up. I think having it lock the stem would be ideal. Yeah the ELB I used had fallen apart at the seam a while back definitely wouldn't have used a functioning one.

Used an old ELB for an intake cover, not perfect but I like it better than just the mesh. I think my next mod will be the guitar pick.
