Hmmm :sherlock: You can pretty much use every surface as long as the sides of the mouthpiece lay on the edge so that the glass is suspended in air. then you can easily tap it out.
Excuse my marvelous paint skills :mental: But maybe this helps (God this was hard to do at an 8).
What I did was hold it still between a vice (with some cloth to not damage the plastic) and lightly tap it with a hammer. Tap it on the bottom side that had the rubber on it (from the bottom through the top).
I could not get it out with my bare hands or even with a pen that I stuck in there...
I e-mailed @VapoShop yesterday and they want me to return the unit.
They have said the following (translated):
'We have read multiple complaints about the Tera and this does seem to be a common problem. We will communicate this with boundless, in the mean time we ask you to return your...
Here is a video of the concentrate mode with blowing into the device.
Spoiler: ZERO OFF-GASSING.

It's really easy:
Remove the glass from the mouthpiece
Take off the rubber at the bottom
Softly tap the silver part out with a rubber hammer
Friction fit the Solo stem in the plastic (BE CAREFUL, TIGHT FIT)
Add a o-ring or a bit of silicone tubing on the inside for a 100% seal
Insert screen...
Mine also off-gased like crazy, I was so scared at first. It goes away, not a single puff now. Still curious about the teardown though!
Edit: Got mine from Vaposhop.
I have wrapped some electrical tape around the bottom post of the WPA a few times and that really strengthens the fit. Mine doesn't even wiggle anymore!
My number one gripe right now, kind of sloppy that they did implement a start vibrate but not a stop vibrate. Fingers crossed that they can fix this with a firmware update!
It's not because of the plastic taste, that's long gone. I'm not sure yet wether I like the taste of the Tera more than the Solo II is all I am saying :)
Apparently you can also use the rubber from the original mouthpieces, not as strong of a seal but useable. Give it a spin, really curious if you like it!
For smoothness I find the Tera to be an absolute winner, for taste I'm not sure. ;)
