I thought you had an (estimated) March ship date? VoodooChild also originally had an (estimated) March shipping date.

If you look back at the email responses people have posted from Trevor, he explained that all the units that have been shipped out so far(excluding Buzz's) went to people that invested in them before the Indiegogo campaign. Seems to me that those people deserved to receive theirs first, since...

I had considered purchasing that originally, along with a couple other options I found, but they are all too bulky IMO. I envision a tool around the same length as a common house key. It would have a keyring hole on one side. The other side would resemble an ice scoop, but just a tad smaller...

How about some sort of a little keychain scoop? Something small enough to get into the chamber to break up stuck herb, but with enough of a scoop to assist in loading herb into the chamber. Perhaps slightly smaller than the scoop end of a Slurpee straw? A keychain dabber would work it you just...

It was Buzz who originally made the comment about the carry on parts. We were already under the impression that they were only bringing back the parts needed to finish the first 500 units as carry on, it was never about complete units. The grasshoppers are assembled from parts here in the USA...

It goes in the order of when you became a backer, not based off where you live.(Stainless Steel units only at this time though) It was reported they are bringing back enough parts for 500 units, plus parts for another 1000 units will be shipped at the same time. That takes care of the first...

At this point there will be a bit of a wait to receive a unit, but still less of a wait if you preorder now. Once they start hitting the market orders will flood in like no other, which means if you aren't quick there could still be a rather long wait time. I'm just saying if you wait until...

@BuzzDanklin How fine are the screens in the GH? Would one be able to load kief into the GH without it just falling through the screens(non-melty kief of course)? I do realize that it would probably be more of a pain to clean out, but sometimes I like to enjoy a kief load.

I don't mind them pushing it further, as long as it doesn't start combusting on the highest setting. An extremely fast inhale is going to need more power to maintain the same temperature than an extremely slow inhale would need. As long as it is regulating this power properly, it should only...

It says 29.95 when I click the link, shipping included as well. For that price I may pick one up just for the novelty factor.

@BuzzDanklin I'm curious, how warm does the battery feel immediately following a full session? For instance after a full load on heat setting 5, really pushing it to it's limits. Does much heat transfer to the battery, or does the battery get hot at all on it's own? Thanks for taking your...

No they don't all have issues. It's not that all ego batteries are bad, nor are all high end batteries good. There are rates of defects to each. Some have higher rates than others, IMO. I was just trying to use examples that most people would understand. Some of the ego type batteries are...

Yes even name brand Ego batteries have that same issue, again it goes back to the cell being over rated or an issue with the charger/hardware itself. It's not the USB port's fault that the battery went postal. I could have my Vaporshark rDNA40(which can handle 2A charge rate) plugged into a 10A...

I understand your concern The e-cig thing really only applies to crappy ego batteries that are produced with overrated cells to begin with, or are related to a bad cell/charger issue. Li-ion batteries are powerful. If they aren't used/treated properly, bad things can always happen. I can...

Thanks @BuzzDanklin I know most would rather carry spare batteries, but I would rather carry the charger and just top-up when I need it(situation dependent of course). That charger is definitely not too big for me. Hopefully GH has plans to sell spare USB chargers. I would like one to keep...

Thanks for the picture, but that doesn't clear anything up for me. I still don't know what the other end looks like. Is it just a male USB on the other end? Is there a power converter built onto the charger(similar to the bulky square part of a laptop charger)?

    The Grasshopper

@BuzzDanklin I wouldn't mind seeing a full picture of the charger. Is it easily pocketable, or does it have a large power converter built into it? If it isn't easy/feasible to carry the charger around in my pocket then that is a big negative to me. Also they need to sell battery cases that...

At least it has a great warranty. All will be made right in the end, as long as GH is still a company.

It's a 750mAh 3.7v Li-ion, most ecig chargers that accept the smaller sizes will charge it just fine. The Efest Luc V4 comes to mind as a good, fairly cheap option. You just want to stay at or below 0.5A charge rate most likely.

GH may have only mailed a few units out for all we know, perhaps only to a couple testers. Remember that at this point all they had to work with were very limited small test runs. They also had to hand modify the circuit boards in order to get them to work properly, if I remember correctly...
