You really shouldn't go mixing metals. Threading aluminum onto Stainless is a good way to cause galling, which can result in the parts becoming friction welded together. You run the risk of never being able to separate them. If you are okay with that, go for it.

You aren't taking the time zones into account. Just chill.

Don't use water to lubricate the o-rings. Once the water dries, there's nothing to lubricate the o-rings on the way out. Instead use something like vegetable glycerine. It will make removing the glass much easier.

The GH mouthpiece also tapers down towards the opening, should fit no problem. IMO
