Just purchased their new Vortex stem , looks interesting , I'll see if it does offer a better vaping experience . I prefer the Shorty Gong , b/c I can extract the entire bowl in 3 hits usually . Sometime 4 with diff. strains . ABV is even colored thru out , no stirring needed . On level 7 .

Just a guess , Could it be that glass ' retains ' heat better than teflon ? And maybe there is some minor cooking of the herbs still , when you're not hitting it .

I prefer the 1 ft whip , It allows me to view my trench contents while vaping , and I can also shake the box with ease in between hits .

It's just a ' Sales tactic ' they use , to get more $$$ . I'm sure if you stick to your gun , they'll send you the replacement only ... because you're " friends " .

Companies like S & B and Arizer have already budgeted their time and resources on R & D , before they release their products . Which may count for less complaints and issues overall . Having said that , I still prefer to wait for V2 or V3 of any vape , so they can work out any teething issues...

Yes , I like to heat up the hash and break it up into crumbles 1st . Still do the herb sandwich to keep the hash from actually contacting the oven . They can stain a bit more than just herbs , depending on type of hash . ime . You'll notice the hash flavor overall .

@vaporbrothers That was a very detailed explanation , and because you have extensive knowledge in this area . What's your opinion/thoughts on these ceramic ' donut ' attys ? They have No coils or Wicks . My only concerns are that you will have to keep it vertical when using to avoid spillages ...
