In my experience with the volcano, it hits hard if you pack it full with just enough space to put the liquid pad. I just did that and was put out of commission on bag #2. :rofl:

@grokit , now that you mention plumbing parts, a plumbing shop is probably a great place to go to find something to serve as a stand. the LSV is cylindrical in shape after all, they must have something we could use effectively.

@grokit does the shape of the hc put the heating element closer to the herbs than a regular hc with wpa?

I just tried the wpa for the first time and liked it a lot. better taste and faster extraction than in a ELB. how do you stir the material with the wpa though? @Mrmrmrmr your ELB sits in the m2m, similar to my setup in the pics?
