sm55, ime, the MixNBall screen clogs easily regardless. Mine sits in my stash drawer now and only comes out if I am grinding up under .25 grams. Storing your shredded herb in the storage compartment shouldn't cause any problem, nor make your kief greener but yes, it will clog your screen faster...
