~85 though that might depend if you have the 2.5mm or 3mm balls. Happened to me once, so my method of emptying the device adjusted.. i unscrew over something where i can recover the balls, as well a check the tightness of the screen every so often. Brenyo just had some extra screens and balls up...

My green Temp has some light wear rings already, both around the heat shield and bowl. Some of the more frequent touch points are fading as well.. into a bronze/goldish hue. No biggie but, it's why I'm getting another (well played Brenyo 😋) either plain or black.. I prefer more subdued colors...

To assist possibly; heat above the two lines on the head, closer to the VI, this will move the indicator a bit quicker, the lower you heat on the head the slower the VI is to react. This should give you a bit more control over the heat soak to avoid combustion. I cant get past the second notch...

Took delivery today.. I tried a few bowls, fried a few of them too, that was till I figured out the VI was getting stuck.. I've adjusted my technique with that knowledge.. cleaned her up and managed to get a good few. With that said is there anything I can do for the sticky VI? Could it be that...

volume of a sphere,, (4/3)*(pi*r^3) ... 2.5mm sphere has an r=1.25 and gives you a vol of = ~8.2 2.0mm sphere has an r=1 and gives you a vol of = ~4.2 90 zirc spheres in the head @ 2.5mm, so you would need approx double to meet the same volume. I was going to order 200 sic @ 2mm - I wanted...

These are quite literally test kits.. the fundamental reason these devices were sold.

I think device infrastructure for operating is a meaningful but something not directly discussed when comparing devices. I know it depends on primary use case but I see myself using a torch v the wand.. six/half dozen

a few ppl have posted videos of them using hash and other concentrates with the device on this thread and hadnt seen any complaints about needing a separate solution, maybe dont pack so high or bury the concentrate in a flower sandwhich.

Yeah I have my quote ready to go for 200 2mm SiC sintered balls.. it's why I asked what the volume of the ball chamber was. I thought about an even smaller diameter but I don't want too much draw resistance.
