Personally, I like the elev8r empty, however I couldn't fit many in my head and they were all at the bottom so YMMV. Careful with beads and butane, you need plenty of room for expansion as a torch is much more aggressive than a coil. Honestly get the kit with the wand, it's fucking delicious...

Yes! The trick is to push it down flat with the male end of a different 14mm joint. Mine hasn't budged this way since I received my z8. It doesn't even move in the ultrasonic cleaner!

These phase 3 vapes are very open airflow wise. The z8, iirc, has a similar, if not slightly more open than the 1.7 which was 18mm. It's also more open than my ceroma filled with a mixture of 3 and 4mm balls. I agree with @Grass Yes in that what you put into the head will make a large difference.

I think it is reasonable for there to be a 23% difference frankly. The test result signifies the result of the sample sent for testing, not what's in the package. If I were sending my product for testing, which ends up as marketing, I would most definately pick the best buds of the batch to send...
