    Discontinued Indica Vaporizer

I contacted support about my unit a month ago, was told to mail my defective one in, and did so the same day. Still haven't heard or received anything. Website says my replacement order is "processing" which is pretty disappointing after a month. An email with an explanation of delays would go...

    Discontinued Indica Vaporizer

Having received no reply from PM here nor from emailing Indica, I called the support number today. I was told that I would be receiving a new unit, and should return mine. I asked if it were possible to instead receive credit towards a new model, and was told this is not possible. I explained...

    Discontinued Indica Vaporizer

Welp, mine gave up the ghost. Doesn't heat at all. Still within the warantee so here's hoping...

    Discontinued Indica Vaporizer

I drilled mine out, I enjoy the change. Only con I can think of is the possibility of breathing metal fillings, so I gave the piece a very very very thorough scrub and blew it out with compressed air. Maybe excessive but health is the reason I vape to begin with.

I'll patiently work with it and report any improvement or worsening. Thanks for responding to both of you.

    Discontinued Indica Vaporizer

My sticky button issue is getting worse. It will now, despite careful pressing in the inoffensive direction (that is, as vertically as possible) still hook under the lip of it's hole, and remain depressed. The button has to be jiggled a bit to get it to pop back up. Used to be just mildly...

    Discontinued Indica Vaporizer

Did you push the button twice to enter "heat" mode? Try on different color levels, waiting a minute or so till it flashes three times?

Your english is fine. I really respect people who will post on a forum using a language they are not necessarily comfortable with. Thanks for adding your experience to our collective pool, it is very helpful for everyone.

    Discontinued Indica Vaporizer

While still mostly enjoying this rig, I have been kindof circling around the proper packing density. I actually hauled out the scale and have been playing with .2 gram loads. I find that the spacer nearly always causes it to be too dense, restricting air flow. On the other hand, if I leave it...

    Discontinued Indica Vaporizer

I figured out, at least on my unit, how to manage the sticky button. There is a tiny bit of slop between the LED button and the hole it emerges from. Pushing the button in one specific direction causes it to jam. With the hinge on the left, pushing the button slightly forward while down will...

    Discontinued Indica Vaporizer

I've had a sticky button as well. Its not sticky like dirty, but like it somehow hooks underneath the top surface and won't return to the unpressed state. Not bad enough to want to send the unit back but it does seem to be a mild issue. Otherwise still digging this thing. Blue is really tasty...

    Discontinued Indica Vaporizer

Mine arrived a few days ago and am mostly digging it. I didn't buy it for the packaging but indeed a box you can keep is a nice touch. Shame about the sticker on it, huge with nasty strong adhesive. I scrubbed it with some citrus cleaner. The unit works as advertised. The middle levels are...

    Discontinued Indica Vaporizer

I just started a new fulltime job so have had almost no time to browse various forums. I'd been planning on ordering an Indica since this summer, but decided to hold off for the noir. Filled the void with a FlowerMate, which is ok but am eager to see the real deal. So nice to finally have a...

    FlowerMate Vapormax V/V5.0/V5.0S/V5 Pro

I've also been enjoying this... it is in fact so convenient that I have started to neglect my SSV. I don't bother to stir. As mentioned above, it is easy to pack it too densely, and the mouthpiece does get hot. I don't doubt it is possibly somehow more efficient or superior to stir, but I can't...

    FlowerMate Vapormax V/V5.0/V5.0S/V5 Pro

Cheap grinders scare me because of materials issues, not because they don't work. I really don't want to be vaping plastic particles, nor strange cost-saving alloys. High-end grinders are not that expensive in the big picture, and should last a very, very long time. The good news is that if you...

Mine came with both mouthpieces. One was sealed in a little bag, the other was inside the unit (open the sliding door on the bottom).

    FlowerMate Vapormax V/V5.0/V5.0S/V5 Pro

Thanks for the detail, makes sense. Just to reiterate... the massdrop ("v5" fixed temp) unit does seem to work very well. Can't attest to durability or anything yet, but it does heat up plenty well, feel good in the hand, and all that. Politics of cheap imported goods aside, I think this will...

    FlowerMate Vapormax V/V5.0/V5.0S/V5 Pro

Mine arrived with a seemingly decent charge. I did several unloaded cycles to burn off any potential funk. Also used the vinegar and baking soda thing I linked to above, though trusting 2 hours to be long enough in the baking soda (seems to be... offensive smell is totally gone). Note my silicon...

    FlowerMate Vapormax V/V5.0/V5.0S/V5 Pro

My massdrop unit should arrive today, and I have read this whole thread and used the search... but honestly, it is difficult to find info in a huge forum like this, so if anyone doesn't mind: What is the ideal "burn in" routine for this unit? I recall some people suggesting to run it through a...

    Athlete Vaporists?

Another option for biking on a budget is to see if your area has a "bike kitchen" or "recyclery" non-profit. Many mass-produced inexpensive road frames in the 1980s were of relatively high quality compared to the cheap frames of today. Put a mix of new (tires, saddle, chain, brake pads) and used...
