    Discontinued VapeXhale Cloud EVO

Sorry that your EVO is acting up. It does sound like it is overheating. I checked the Indiegogo page and the only mention of warranty is for the Fanatic level (lifetime) . . ...

    Discontinued VapeXhale Cloud EVO

My Evolver HydraTree arrived today and I am shocked. Not joking. This piece is incredibly smooth, barely less than my Hydraline and better than the Evolver circ that I had. The diffusion is magnificent, better than the Hydraline. It has a more narrow neck with a perfect mouthpiece. It...

Oops. :ko: There are a number of ladies here that are serious vaporists. No doubt they hold their own. :myday::peace:

That was the "Hydrafoot 2.0". I have one. It has a large circ with 40+ slits. It's got a side joint so the EVO goes inverted. With a Hydratube on top there is a little additional drag but not too much at all, surprising given its size. A lot of diffusion, which is why I got it; can't say...

    Discontinued VapeXhale Cloud EVO

@BoinG, you've come a long way in such a short time with your EVO (and extra kudos for reading through the thread)! And great advice (and description) with your 3 draw styles. The most common challenge for new EVO users seems to be working out how to hit it (and behind that, how to load it)...

AFAIK, the blinking only occurs (a) when the unit has timed out, toggle the switch to re-set the timer. Or (b) the firmware gets confused as to the correct setting and needs to be re-booted which is the reason for the suggestion to set at noon (or lower), turn off, set at desired setting, turn...

@poonman, damn you anyway. Damn all you guys that have been drooling over that Evolver HT. You gave me a fit of GAS. :o I had one of the early Evolver HT's, but sold it. I remember how solid and well made a piece it was. So well hell, I just bought one, too. Hard to resist at that price.

It appears that FFox is the problem; it fed an "about:blank" url to the spawned page. But it worked fine in Chrome. (Note: I use a Linux workstation, not a Windows PC.) Looks like you may need to use a different browser. Or - I tried this and it works too - order from the VXL site. At...

I just tried it using both Chrome and FFox, and it worked. Here is the url...

    Discontinued VapeXhale Cloud EVO

The EVO has subtleties and is a very flexible vape,. While that enables the user to fine tune his/her experience in different ways, it also IMO often increases a new user's learning curve. One of the more common posts on this thread is by a new EVO owner who is wrestling with getting his/her...

    Discontinued VapeXhale Cloud EVO

Unfortunately I don't have an answer for you, it's a difficult question. I put a question into a friend who knows much more about this than me. I'll get back to you. Sorry, best I can do.

Good point. IME the Q's comfort (or lack thereof) depends substantially how one uses it (like a lot of vapes). The stock unit with the narrow glass elbow attached to 36" of tubing adds a lot of drag for me; try to increase performance with the elbow-pack and that adds a lot more. I probably...

    Discontinued VapeXhale Cloud EVO

Some good advice above, a few additional thoughts . . . You should not have a problem transporting your EVO, the shipping box or similar works fine. As an aside, quite a few folks have purchased a cheap gun case, the type with the small removable foam sections that allow you to shape the foam...

There are links earlier in this thread; just Search on "power cord" in this thread and you'll get a bunch of hits. You can use essentially any standard 120V electronics device cord (e.g., a PC or TV cable). There was one cord reported that is flat so it doesn't tend to coil itself like some...

The deep cleaning will be a lot easier if you use a brush (1/2" diameter test tube brush works great, @Stu has posted a pic in this thread several times). I keep a small flask of ISO and when the brush can't get one clean enough any longer, toss into the flask. After using about half my ELB's...

I tried .05 last night (I ordinarily use ~.15g) with decent but not top shelf material, and out of my Mobius Ion I got 2 medium hits. The EVO is exceptionally efficient; it will fully extract your herb. How far .05g will go of course also highly depends on the quality of your flowers and your...

    Discontinued VapeXhale Cloud EVO

Fwiw, I just had my EVO (s/n 22) updated, and find that the new bamboo is more restrictive than what it replaced. With every Cloud I've had, more so with this latest, I've had to re-discipline myself to take a relaxed, steady draw just up to the point of its whistle. This technique IME yields...

Yes. I can't for sure remember the reason why, but I faintly recall that it is the firmware when several conditions happen simultaneously. Returning the knob to 12 and toggling the switch frees it up; then set it to your desired knob position. Not really a problem.

I notice it's a circ; how smooth is it, any chugginess? How tall is the body?
