From what i have read on the internets glass will break under the rapid cooling but real quarrz won't? But thats just according to google, more than happy to be educated if that's not the case! Nope, just went for this guy based on nothing else but its apparent popularity on dhgate. But then...

@dodgy_b it works best as long as the screen is covered, doesn't have to be full. I've not used a restrictor disk, but i kinda think the dose caps more or less do the same thing, i shouldnt have thought both would be necessary. I have removed my screen altogether and only use the dose caps now.

I had a really nice, rare for me, dry session with my misty last night. Using an 8mm ss tip on a glass stem at 12v, lots of flavour, effortless clouds. Lovely lovely. i can see how easy it would be to "accidentely" have too many bowls, as it is just there ready and waiting, and can be chain...

Just a short update, i have been having great effect from 45w! Really enjoying this vape now, thanks again to everyone's help!

I dont have a restrictor disk (for my Jr) but the s&b capsule seems to make it pretty difficult to combust, i imagine it performs much the same function.

Thank you @LesPlenty! Feeling a little silly that i didnt just buy a whole new dab rig for the money i spent between the banger and that y-adapter, but at least this adapter will be useful with my logs too. Thank you also @Summer . The TAG stuff looks great but the postage to the UK kills it :doh:

I have an OG air and a bunch of logs. The air is good, but extracts slowly, so a bowl will last around ten minutes. I feel you kinda can microdose with the air, but for me if im microdosing, i want the whole dose at once, rather than slowly. I only use the air when im out in public as it kinda...
