It's a perfect fit on top. They're curved and putting the curved side facing down on top of the load is how I do it.

@frank grimes In addition to inhaling with my lungs, one other thing I've used to help me get my technique down is using the vape in a silent environment at first. It helped me listen to my draw speed and I could more easily dial things in . You'll notice your mouth and ears will work together...

I find that using my lungs to inhale makes getting the draw speed right each time. Some Vapes need a longer draw and I'll use my diaphragm. Not so much here.
