The SS pods seem to retain heat better, there's no coating flaking off. I haven't used my aluminum pods since I got my SS ones to be honest. I'd have to switch back to see if there's any noticeable difference. It's been weeks since I switched. Sorry that's not a super thorough comparison

You can achieve a fine grind with just about any grinder. Turn your 3 or 4 piece upside down. There's a lengthy thread about grinders in the equipment section. The magic flight finishing grinder has been highly recommended.

I've suggested this before but if you're having trouble finding the right draw speed, use the vape in a quiet location and listen to your session. You'll feel when the vapor is right. You'll hear the speed and you'll be able to replicate the results.
