Youre probably right that it's more of a dilution effect that gives the denser hits. But I don't think I'm wrong either. I'm having a hard time finding the right words this morning. Experimenting and testing with blocking the holes definitely can give you some variables to play with to help...

Decreased airflow produces higher temperatures which produces more/denser vapor and different effects. I currently have one of the holes taped shut and towards the end of a session I will cover an additional one with my finger to really decreased airflow and get the last little bit from my load
