Hyman quartz on DHGate makes good quartz nails for cheap. The 4mm thick ones are kind of overkill unless you regularly take giant dabs, 3mm works just fine.

You need a drop down! I have one from alpineglass on DHGate that helps with this.

If you have problems with water splashing into the hose, you probably have too much water in your piece to start with. And as far as smoking with your piece and then vaping, yeah it's gonna taste awful. You could just hit the vape dry if you're smoking out of the bong.

First time pressing out buds in a hair straightener, got some good looking rosin out of it. Pressed about .8, got .15 back. Bud was some frosty but flavorless Chemdog. Gonna try making a HMK press to get some more pressure into the buds.
