If you have a black o-ring on your lid, purchase the replacement orange o-ring. It is a softer material and allows the lid to swivel and be removed easier.

I'm not too sure about this design. The internal water tank will start to smell foul after some use, unless they make it so the water can be changed frequently. Also, it looks like it will be difficult to clean the water tank, which can become a health concern.

The Solo used a ceramic coating on the steel cup, not Teflon.

I would suggest those new to the Elevape try the bottle cap screen method on the lid if your unit does not have the stir lid. With the center screw no longer in the heat chamber, the herbs seem to vape much better and the heat is more evenly distributed throughout. YMMV

If you move up to the size of a magic marker, the Inhalater 05 would be a good choice. It utilizes a combination of conduction and convection, replaceable battery, and variable temperature. The electronics used in this iteration are more reliable than their past endeavors.

Actually if you have a non defective Solo, it will not combust, even on temp 7. What you may have seen was some charring in your ABV, but certainly no ash. Sorry, back to FlashVape.

You're a brave man. Not sure I'd take a chance on this one yet with all of the bugs recently purchased units are experiencing.

While that looks like a great idea, it may reduce the temps too much and may not fit under the retainer ring. YMMV
