Only if you never plan to remove the battery, as the ribbon breaking has had a high failure rate and is not covered under warranty.

I had the same problem. Call S&B, they will send you a return shipping label to have it replaced. You will eventually turn the device on and get the orange and red flashing lights of death. Good luck!

Also, since you have one of the earlier units, ask Joe to replace the coil posts. The new coil post configuration is much easier to replace the coil and angle properly.

Might have to jump on this one before the price increase.... Could someone post an in-use video before the increase?

It only needs to be replaced when it no longer heats properly. The coil is titanium. The amount of hits per bowl will have many variables like herb quality, temp, length of hit, inhalation speed, etc... From my experience, I can get on average between 8-20 hits per bowl, YMMV

At that price, you might as well purchase the vape with the bubbler as the vape/ bubbler combo is $42 shipped.
