Someone with moderate electronics knowledge could replace the battery, but it requires soldering and voiding the warranty. I'm pretty sure there will be a replacement option.

I mastered my lotus in less than a few hours with the techique described in this review. Been using it hard ever since, it's a great vape if you don't mind driving manual, so to speak.
