@mosh Speaking on behalf of both the inanimate object, the cloud, in and of itself, and also it's conceptual marketing representation, I'd like to say, thanks for the support and I hope to see you there too. ;)

Thanks for your input. I was actually leaning toward DBV minutes ago and your words had a nice "hold it" effect. I don't have the limitation of having to conceal my rig or odor. So, I wonder whether you would be more open to the DBV as your main driver if you had no environmental restrictions.
Right, these log vapes sound appealing to me for potential efficiency, flavor, airflow reasons but I've thought actually of the SSV or DBV in order to give me bigger hitters, effiency be damned. Due to bad experience with box vapes previously, I never even considered stationary, plugged-in...
Does anyone else get into odd ruts, even with their main driver, that require them to switch it up?
Case in point: I love me some solo and have mine sitting on top of a big hairy bong/ashcatcher contraption. I end up pulling serious vapor rather quickly but.. I end up sitting there and staring...
Hehe, yeah, I've got me a solo and it an all around great piece. The fact that I like it so much makes me appreciate how slight differences could make a big impact. I was wondering whether the airflow might be a real difference. And a different airflow means different vape experience. I was...
Thanks, I was thinking they covered the same territory but wasn't sure. I'm still betting there have got to be a couple of potential improvements depending on the log, such as airflow. But you are saying, that all in all, they are more alike than different. Good to know. Save me some...
I have a solo. It's all that and I love it more and more everyday. Yet.. sometimes I wonder if other similarly shaped devices might deliver a better experience or more efficiency.
So, the solo is just a log vape made our of steel right? Or is there something special about the positioning...
How long can you pound away at dark brown?
I know this topic has been covered from a million different angles but.. can one just blast away at 7 for as long as there is vaporish smoke coming off it, even if it gets a rather dark brown? i don't taste any combustive output. it tastes great and...
Solo MakeDo Bubbler
1 Ash Catcher with perc + 1 18mm GonG adapter with carb + 1 14mm to 18mm adapter + 1 foot MFLB whip = Solo MakeDo Bubbler. Enjoy ;)
I'm wondering if folks could catalog their drying techniques, with an emphasis on the speedy. Did someone around here say something about using the fridge and herbs in a glass jar to release moisture? Anybody used <gasp> a microwave?
I know it wouldn't be too hard to macgyver one together. I was messing with one of the GonG adapters, some silicone tubing, and an empty ash catcher and came pretty close. If I can get me one of the diamond drill bits and a couple of big rubber stoppers, I might be in bizness. Might be a bit...
Here's my idea free for the taking for any and all glass blowers. Wouldn't it be sweet to make a small, HI-like glass piece to fit on top of the Solo. It wouldn't be designed for portability per se and some further stabilization would be necessary. You could call it the FC Solo Bubbler and put a...
Word. Fine grind. Dry herbs. The unconsious mflb auto-shake response. Slow draw (using the style of your choosing). The cool down comes into play when I want to mess with the quantity. I regularly commit the crime of filling right up to the clear cover. Sometimes I wait as long as possible...
Far be it from me to claim to have the only true technique. Maybe, I should add to my sig: "Results may vary" or even "The above may be overstated. The author is using the product he is describing." :) I'm all over the map myself in how I do it. It has been nice for me to read/observe others...
