I like one big hit and finish it with a smaller hit and qtip after that. I do have “iron lungs” and what would make most people cough out a lung I barely flinch at. I tend to take bigger dabs than most people.

510 is way to low for me 600 is the lowest I go and I’m usually up near 700. 510 would put the dish at around 420-450 and I feel like my dabs just pool and never fully vaporize at those temps. Great for flavor though.

Thanks man! Looks like it’s time for a tc mod and a new rda! I was thinking of the evic series or Eleaf pico but haven’t really checked out mods in awhile. I don’t vape ejuice so it would just be used for wax. Any suggestions or thoughts on the mods I was thinking of. :cool:

Any metallic taste from the mesh?? How’s it taste after a few hits? Does the mesh gunk up and start tasting nasty? I stopped using rda’s for wax/shatter/oil as the taste really got to me.

The ir gun will be of no real use. If you want to know dish temp you will need a thermocouple device to get accurate reading. I suggest setting your controller to 650 and go up or down from there depending on your preference.

Take the mouthpiece off, turn the vape up to max and let it run for a full 5 minutes session.

I’d do a burn off and load it up if all is fine.

It’s a great pure convection portable but the battery life sux and you really need a good set of lungs to get the most from the cfv. It’s definitely worth $60.

ABV comes out dark brown like you would expect.

I stopped grinding because my draw would literally come to almost a stop. At first it would hit fine and a couple seconds into the draw the stem would become plugged. I only use hand torn nuggets now but it can still become plugged if I hit to long or to hard. I don’t really see what could...

My combustion friends love the showerhead because is pretty much “fire to bowl” with nothing extra to fiddle with. With the showerhead it’s load bowl, place showerhead on bowl and rip it!!! I do have one buddy that barley fires the perc on the bong and I have to lower my standard temps for him.

Yeah I find the only time I have to worry about breath control with the showerhead even a little bit is at the start of my draw. If I want to savor the flavor for a couple of hits I just let it rip from the start but still get massive clouds no matter what.

This is with Louie VIII, hand torn nugs, full stem heated to 355 before removing the torch. As you can see the vapor definitely dies off at the end of my hit and the temp by the time I’m done with my hit is 326.

Yes just the standard handle bowl with the hemp wick wrapped handle. The bowl is shallower than the OG non handle bowl and the adjust a bowl. The adjustabowl depth is the same as the OG non handle bowls.

I find that the handle bowls work best for micro dosing. The shallower bowl gets the herb closer to the heat.
