New to grinders question... I have a 2piece Santa Cruz and seems to work ok. Does the job, but seems to be difficult to get the material out. How would a 3 piece or 4 piece be better, or do better. I have a ff2 and a pax2 and use them both regularly... Any suggestions? My lhs has the Santa...

Just filled with some new material after a quick cleaning and set it to (3)medium. Hand torn grind, packed fairly snug. First pull for about 15 seconds as slow as I could, baby cloud, but I could see it. 2nd pull for a count to 20 and as slow as I could go, wow, wow wow. Such an amazing...

Anyone using a grinder for their material with the ff2? Seems my hand tearing is fairly inconsistent and leaves some little sense nugs... Any grinder suggestions that would work consistently?

Yeah, even tried starting a little lower, like medium or maybe even the first setting. Did seem to work, from what I remember. Even when I don't seem to get a cloud per se, it still seems to work.

After a week with black betty(black ff2) she just keeps on delivering. I clean her after every time I change to new material, she is as clean as day one. Very easy to clean. Taste is still phenomenal. First go is always delicious. Have settled on a coarse grind, mostly hand torn really...

Welcome and good luck with the ff2. Cleanest taste I've ever had, and cool as glass for me. Let us know how it goes...

Pax2 still does a great job for me. The stink isn't the best but otherwise it works very very well every time for me.

Ff2 made it. Seems pretty solid so far. Set it to medium and still got a nice little cloud. Hand torn grind, and I can't tell you how cool the goods are. 3-4 pulls and medication is still green fairly green. Taste is almost like you could imagine if you just took a bite of it. Heating time...
