Conduction is when the heat source actually touches the herbs. Convection is when hot air passes through the herbs without and heat source touching it. MFLB is conduction. Grasshopper is advertised as convection(I don't think anyone has tried it yet to confirm) Pax is "primarily" conduction...

Depending what I'm doing during the day that container can last anywhere from 24hrs to one week And having a double O-ring seal,and no light penetrating I'm not too worried about freshness. I use my medium spacecase to bust everything up quick then finish with the MFLB grinder
