another big factor is the grind and your draw speed. I never ever go above 7, I control it with my draw speed based on how fine my grind is

yeah the nano isnt good at quickly switching temps. For herb you really dont need to go past 7. ive combusted once at 7.5. Most people are in the 6-7 range I dont think people even use 9 except maybe for concentrates through glass
