    The Firefly 2 vaporizer

How are you breaking apart your material? I like to cut it apart with sharp scissors like I am packing a glass piece. Personally, I don't like to use a grinder on this vape but plenty of others do. Also, another tip is to pack it full but don't press the material down in the bowl part. The...

    The Firefly 2 vaporizer

I'm trying to find a way to charge my FF2 batteries without using the charging dock. I ordered the FF1 adapter because I thought I read that it works for FF2 batteries. Do I need to order something else to charge FF2 batteries or did I order the wrong part...

    The Grasshopper Shipping Poll

I heard back from them today. It is nice for them to has a quick turn around on customer emails. Sounds like they are still behind some. Ordered 10/22/16. "Hi There, Your order is estimated to ship in December. It is still difficult for me to determine the exact date it will ship out...

    The Grasshopper Shipping Poll

Thanks. I was trying not to bother them since I know these guys have to be slammed. I sent them an email yesterday through their website (support@grasshoppervape.com) . Hopefully they get back to me. My chances of getting this before x-Mas are getting slimmer by the minute.

The Mighty/Mighty+ by Storz & Bickel

After 1/2 of a year of using the FF2, I have brought the mighty back from retirement. I have always found that my favorite was of enjoying a vape with the mighty is by using the was pad as a spacer. I would like to fine something ceramic. Does anybody know where I can get a ceramic spacer...

    The Firefly 2 vaporizer

I was able glue the broken nut to the motherboard with gorilla glue super glue. After it dried, I was able to screw the ceramic plate down and maintain contact with the heating element. It don't know if it was the super glue fumes or the mod but this thing is rocking now. :)

I was thinking about using an epoxy like gorilla glue but I can imagine that this nut gets really hot. I wonder if that will effect the bond. Do you know of a type of two part epoxy to try?

    The Firefly 2 vaporizer

Sure. I'm not as hurt about it as some of you guys might be if it happened to yours. I was really tired of feeling like my eyes were popping out of my head every time I took a pull. The screen is still about 10 % clogged, even after an alcohol bath. IMO, this is a flaw in the design. This...

    The Firefly 2 vaporizer

Thanks @CRvapes . There are basically two problems. The bond coming loose where the nut is welded to the motherboard is one. The bigger problem is that the nut fully broke in half. The top picture shows the broken nut. It should be one piece. I must say. After observing the standard...

    The Firefly 2 vaporizer

So I rolled the dice the other day and decided to replace the standard screen with a mesh screen. Big mistake. When I was trying to loosen a screw tha holds the heating element in place, the back end of the square nut that holds the nut to the motherboard broke. Come to find out, this is...

    The Firefly 2 vaporizer

It is a good idea but I just tried it and the dosing caps are just a little bit too wide. The FF lid didn't fit all the way and I snipped the cap in half. Plus the metal was really hot when I flipped it. I did get visable vapor on the high setting and using about 1/3 of the amount of material...

    The Firefly 2 vaporizer

I actually stir every other hit, if not every hit. My issue is that I am vaping and not smoking because I only want the goodies extracted at 375 or below. The scorched pieces are most certainly extracting above 375. The benefit of the FF2 is the ability to take a hit and sit it down but I can...

    The Firefly 2 vaporizer

I own a mighty and a FF2. Lately I have been using the mighty after I saw the capsules that came out. Now I am looking at the spent material between the two units. The FF2 is uneven and half is black from being scorched. The mighty is evenly light brown. Does anybody else own both and have...

    The Firefly 2 vaporizer

I have the Haze V2 and it is more like a toy compared to the FF2. My issue with the Haze is that I always taste iso after cleaning, which you have to clean as often as the FF2. Trust me, in a week or so you will forget all about the Haze. The prepackaged cans in the haze are pretty cool...

    The Firefly 2 vaporizer

I agree with you about the need to clean this vape. I clean it at least every other time. Also, don't forget to clean the female part of the body where the mouthpiece goes into. Gunk buolds up in there too. For cleaning the mouthpiece, I use a pepper towe soaked in iso. Then I flatten it...

    The Firefly 2 vaporizer

I have have both the mighty and the firefly 2. Both are great but are completely different vaporizers. The firefly 2 wins in taste, intensity of high, material conservation, and ease of cleaning. The mighty wins in convince from not having to stir, drawl resistence, ease of packing, and...
