short draws are possible with the alfa, yes. After a few weeks of using the alfa, I can confirm (as JSpeed80) : mouthpiece get too hot and you have to find a replacement (mouthpiece from the arizer air for example, I also try with success the glass mouthpiece from my SSV, 510 drip tip...)...

it will increase your pleasure for sure (except you have to find a workaround for the mouthpiece that I find too hot, I'm currently using teflon 510 drip tip in the alfa, will post picture later), but I'm not sure it will increase a lot your high. If I were you, I'd go with desktop unit? waiting...

where did you buy it? What is the email adress you are using to contact customer service? I have contacted goboof several times and I always had an answer within 24 hours...

I bought the alfa over the crafty because I don't have a smartphone, nor bluetooth, and was looking for the more discreet tool. I've put the glass mouth adapter from my SSV in the alfa because it really tends to be hot for the lips. Overall it's pretty amazing what this little black box is...
