    XMAX Starry 4, Portable Vaporizer

I see in the manual they say to only fill the cap to half. To prevent clogging of the air holes or maybe allow movement of the herb by the air flow?

Right. Only metals with strong magnetic properties, no ti, no copper, some steels.

Yes you can play a bit with the depth much like the DV, the second click has about a 5 sec gap, as the heat is absorbed pretty slow, so you might add a few seconds after the click to get a darker roast maybe 3-5sec for herb, hash I add like 8-10sec. 45-60sec 1st warmup to 1st click depending on...

With little info on the DuraCore, I’m guessing it’s to protect the copper for some reason and aid the transfer of heat to the copper when using a IH. They are working on a IH so trying improve induction properties of the Anvil kind of makes sense. If I had to use a torch for a Anvil or DV all...

That is a one-hitter pipe or chillum with a removable bowl, not a DV stem. It’s possible they could make a stem as they seem capable, but it doesn’t look like something that would work good with a Anvil, rough calculation .375” diameter = 9.5mm ID needed=8mm so wall thickness .75mm very thin...

I mentioned the Simrell MVS it‘s Ti with a Ti Stinger intercooler/mp works pretty good w/Anvil. It is the only one I know of, though there is probably a lot I don’t know of. Show me example of a Ti stem you are considering. Just saying Ti stem tells me nothing, is it a thin walled tube or have...

I have the Bent-Neck and love it, pull is nice if you don’t put too much water in and can hold quite a bit of water. I use a 4.5” glass stem in the mp. Never tried the recycler version. :2c:

So you are talking about the USA version of the Anvil for stems? If so I’d try stay away from metal stems unless they have enough mass to absorb the heat without getting to hot to the touch. A lot of heat energy is put into the Anvil so a lot comes out and is problematic. Here’s my take using...

Alternately if you have a second heater screen/disk use it on top of the bowl and discard the grommet/screen and it prevents the center browning spot in top of the bowl. I use a mesh screen in the grommet for better air flow and the silicone grommet doesn’t seem to bother me, but I’m not everybody.

The HR Rouge caps are slightly wider, don’t fit the V3Pro or Roffu, but fit perfectly in the Fog Pro, barely rattle sideways, same height. V3Pro and Rouge caps

Same here, 1st tried beads, but too cumbersome, switched to V3Pro glass spacer for ease of use, sometimes Davinci ceramic spacer. Hard to tell how much it differs from just open space by raising the heater filter, but mesh screens/baskets do produce better air flow/penetration than the OG steel...

    Multi-brand Xmax V3Pro vaporizer, convection, on-demand&session.

We had a discussion a while back when Xmax came out with the 14mm wpa whether they should come out with a 19mm version. 420edc has released a 19mm glass only adapter for the wpa mount and looks the same as the 14mm joint and to top things off they released curved and straight dimpled mp glass...

True, I thought it was non 3D atty, sorry. Small reclaim puddle at the end is normal sometimes I have almost nothing, don’t want it too dark though, puddle indicates you’re in the ballpark in temp and time.

Did not like the ball cap, prefer the regular cap with terp pearls and the 3D atty is king. You have to soak the atty in ISO 90+ overnight even changing the ISO till stops getting dirty and scrubbing the stains with Qtips. Dark stains that don’t fully clean up, can be burnt off running a 2-3 max...

Vaping killing the enjoyment of combustion!

My big complaint about combustion is the smell, it wreaks, can’t stand it anymore, when you smoke it you don’t notice the smell, but walk into room where someone just puffed, to me it’s terrible. Vaping has an odor, but not like combustion. Outdoors it’s not as much of a problem. Hash not as bad...
