Well, you need to be careful q-tipping on the V4. I broke the ceramic heater at the contacts/threads near the disc while wiping the quartz crucible. Now my v4 is down for the count. Last week, my paranormal decided to do a battery door ejection/bunny hop (battery door wasn't secured enough)...

    Discontinued Splinter Z by RBT

I had a bubinga v1 splinter. Yes the finish seems smoother, and seemed less of that natural wood feel from my experience. I don't know if its the polish or finish on it done in China but it seemed like if I had to compare, like laminate vs. a real wood grain feel. It's looks great, just the...

Hey guys, can't seem to get a Z off my mind. If anyone is looking to sell one, hit me up. I found one, thanks all!

    The Firefly 2 vaporizer

I use for both but lately more flower over the other. Make sure you have patience to handle a restricted draw for 10-20 plus seconds or longer. If you have lung issues or issues with restricted draws, you'll probably not like the experience. This goes for both materials.

    Vapman

Thanks @OF I definitely feel I am needing more time to get back to where I was. Yes, I have collected many new toys that have put some of my old ones on the shelf. I find myself gravitating towards these older, unique pieces lately as I clean house and find out which ones stay with me long...

    Vapman

So I pulled out my old vapman from years back. It was moderately used with flower and oils. I can't seem to get that flavor back that I once loved from this thing. I've cleaned the copper pan and plastic mouthpiece and screen from wood body. The wood body itself, I didn't do any soaking in...

I think it was due to me holding down the button in wattage mode too long while cleaning the carbon off the dish at 30 W and not pulsing. All of a sudden a spark happened in the donut area. My posts became loose from all the wiping of the dish and needed to be re-tightened from time to...

It's not that bad Jcat. I accomplished it with no tools. If you have fat fingers you'll have probs getting that pin to snap in by hand. But maybe a small plier to hold pin firm while snapping it into the hole. Good thing Matt gives us an extra pin and heater. My heater went toast today.

That cotter pin is a bitch eh? Especially if reassembling without tools and only by hand. Its possible but I understand your struggles

    handheld vaporizer with desktop power?

Another vote for minivap! It addresses what you want, hand held portable desktop power. On par with the evo. Go corded when you want or throw on the battery. Make sure you grab that AC puck. When I want a lazy session that thing wrecks me up. You don't have to think much with the minivap...

    Occasional Hot Hits From Dynavap

From my experience, coming back to a un fresh load is always less desirable than a fresh load that continues to vape, no matter which vape. I usually only go to the first click and stop on my vapcaps, any more longer and you risk that harsh vapor that can be produced that can induce coughing fits.

The wobble of the quartz dish bugged me at first but I'm wiping and mopping qtips with without any issues. Just be careful and wipe up what you can, then you can pulse the heater at 30W to clean off the stubborn carbon deposits. Clean up is breeze.

What starting material did you use? Can you do this with ABV or is it not worth it for tincture.

I've only had it since last Friday but creep was less of an issue on this V4. Once dialed in you can get most of what you put in depending on how long you want to stretch it. I recommend staying a bit under the recommended settings. @JCat. I was wondering what the zapubler looked like...

If you like quartz. The V4 is the one to get. Love that I don't need to invest in a bubble cap setup. This thing distributes the oil good enough for me. Way to go!
