Yea that happened to me. Just keep working it will come off eventually. I don't have a specific formula I just used something to get extra grip on the cap. Just like a long wrench adds a ton of torque, extra grip should give you the extra strength.

When I talked to customer service she said that the device has no way to release heat unless you take a draw. My only guess is leaving the device alone for 3 minutes without taking a draw fried the components because it couldn't release the heat. It only takes 30 seconds to get up to 300+...

It's somewhere in the middle for me. I think vaping the vapcap is easier on your throat/lungs then smoking a spoon/chillum but still smoking from a large water bubbler is easier on my throat/lungs than vaping a vapcap.
