From my very limited experience with the VG, I wasn't a fan. The technique for getting quality vapor was too much of a hassle. The Lotus is a breeze and produces amazing vapor. The best argument I can give is that when the power goes out do you want to get frustrated or stoned? The VG may cause...

The only one I know you can use with a regular lighter with is the Vapor Genie. I would personally recommend the Lotus. It offers fantastic vapor with a cheap gas station torch lighter. I've had nothing but good experiences and most of the people I know who own a Lotus love it. Not my own...

I am specifically talking about the clear Motherships that go for $2k+. Most of my collection is clear glass, but I am drawn to all types of glass whether scientific or worked. I do prefer to see the action within my pieces as well.
