:myday: 9 out of 10 Solo tubes I break are bent tubes. No discussion on broken glass is complete without a picture of my broken Laceface.

You might want to check the SNs of both units with Arizer. Bright lights are a tell tell sign for counterfeit Solos (and Airs) and I never had a Solo battery die within 14 months. Since I now know there a fakes on eBay, my future purchases will be from know vendors like PIU and PV.
