Gathering thoughts on a concept for a future vaporizer.

I would agree with you, the self contained heat batteries sounds like the better (easier, more unique?) way to go...and again, who doesn't like picking up and setting down little weights... A couple thoughts I've had so far - I'm not really worried about the hotplate sitting around as people...

Gathering thoughts on a concept for a future vaporizer.

For sure, I can't see this thing being used with anything less (looks wise) than that terracotta colored hotplates like the second one you posted. But I guess that would be the thing about this desktop, each person could choose their own hotplate. In a way that is another form of customization...

Gathering thoughts on a concept for a future vaporizer.

Wow now these are truly exciting times, when a new Morwood thred/project is posted! This thing sounds pretty awesome to me. I don't know much about the practicality of the heat batteries but they sound super satisfying and remind me of using an old weight scale. I don't see how they're any...

I bet the pics don't. And I was actually thinking how much I liked that style stem, even though I'm not really partial to glass stems in general.

NICE, thank you for the images and info! I hear ya that a phone camera does not represent abv very accurately AT ALL color-wise. It's a bit uneven but you are only still getting familiar with your technique. The roasted sections look well enough roasted for me though. I went ahead and...

    The Toad from Morwood

Thanks for your detailed user experiences. These are the kind of posts that this and the Nomad thread are missing in my opinon. Do you stir your bowl at all between hits? Could you post pics of your abv sometime as well? (Would you say you're changing your batteries generously after 3 or 4...

I wonder if you can stuff some hemp fiber Into the stem somewhere to block some airflow? I guess you'd lose some terps along the way though.

Yeah batch 1 Nomaders have got to be most saltiest. ^^^ It's been 7 and a half months since batch 2 was started and the rest of batch 1 still haven't gone out. I often find myself wondering how the heck that is and I'm not even in batch 1. But hey, honestly the best practice really is to...

The CORRECT way to store your bud?

Alright well I'll get one to check out then, can't hurt. Not only does my stash need to be re filled but my boveda is almost done for anyway so I'm going to get some new bud and a boost and the stone and see what's up. I figure I'll "rehydrate" my bud with the stone then take out and put the...

The CORRECT way to store your bud?

Very interesting.. So I use a boveda in a jar with separate jars with a hole in the cork lid to allow humidity in. I've never had a problem with it and my bud stays fresh forever. Maybe it does steal terps, I wouldn't know. But I'm always interested in new ways. I wonder if your method...

Speaking of, randomly woke up at 1:30am last night and just had to wreck my falling back asleep by first checking out the new update. Way more important.

Sounds like this vape and experience isn't for you then. Who are you to tell us what's acceptable? Don't bring your negative energy here. If we want to wait for years, it's our choice and completely acceptable. There's plenty of other similar vapes that you personally can get much faster so...

Same, I meant the portable log vape aspect excites me greatly in my previous post. Loved the log but couldn't get over the unwieldy cable. Throw in Dan's master craftsmanship and what other vape could you need? ----none for me is what I'm guessing.

    The Nomad From Morwood

If you've ever used a log vape, from what I understand, this thing delivers performance like a portable one. And yes you're "suppose" to just hold the button down for the entirety of the hit. Using pre heat time and inhale speed to control temp. Which excites me greatly.
