The Splinter is way easier to own, more consistent, with more than twice the battery life. Because the Splinter is regulated it really overcomes a lot of the negatives of the Mi. To be honest i really never use my Mi with the Zion or Splinter as options.

I hate to flood it here, but looking to pick up 4 new batteries. Maybe even 6. A handful of mine have cracks on the wrapping and i don't want to risk it. Any suggestions for best batteries and where to purchase them? Thanks.

The one i have was plenty powerful enough for the Splinter and i believe was closer to $40. KangerTech kbox 120. You could probably spend even less and be very satisfied. You really only need 50 or 60 watts max

Steak vs Lobster of desktops IMO. Wouldn't say one is better, but very different at the least.

Do the UD stems happen to be the same size as the WS? I like the idea of SS stem and am wondering if compatible but i doubt it
