Thanks @moondog for saying much better what my stoned arse meant.

It's never just "5mins tops"... And what updates does there need to be? A lot of creators wait until they have a finished design before going public. And a lot like to use the community to alpha and beta test their designs. Both are equally valid tacks to take.

I'd argue the opposite, the info is out there in the community, and the community is active. Barring any kinda issue with a unit, I'd rather he spent time making rather than socialising.

He was pretty active when the fw7 first dropped. I spoke to him on here and that's what finally sold me on it.

Sweet. I hope he's taking a break, the dude must've been working like a one-legged man at an arse kicking competition.

Has he actually publicly announced any release date for the 8? Cos he may just be taking a well earnt break...?

I'd personally ship it to myself. Maybe even go a bit fancy and use a reputable courier like DHL. Best thing is, if caught? "Sorry, no idea what that is or why it was sent to me".

I can't say if you should do it or not, but I only know of one person who has taken their vape outside of Australian borders, and he lost his mighty and is on year 4 of his 10yr ban from entering the US. I've read online of others doing it and succeeding, but don't see too many stories of it...

As in the rimmed ones? If so, press the bottom of the screen towards the rim so the sides of the basket bulge a bit.

Thing that happened last night. Went to a friend's house. Some of their friends came. One of em whipped out a Dyna. I showed my TM, fw7 and p80 (I bought em all cos I hadn't seen my friends since post covid and wanted em to try em). He decided he wanted to try the fw7. After explanation, he got...

    The Nomad From Morwood

Thank you all for all the responses. Never owned a log (although I do have my eye on a woodscents), but am familiar with their concept. Do like the not having to ride the button. Was my one pet peeve with the Milaana, have a coupla drinks and suddenly it's combustion city cos of distorted time...

Oh, I'm not particularly bothered, I didn't have to chase it up, that's a win in my book!

So, took the advice given and used the fine screen. I'll say this much, it's way fluffier than I expected, but it does take an age to grind down what I would call, mildly damp bud.

Yo, people of FC. The guy I'm quoting made me a case for my FW7, and it is damn near perfect. Apparently one of my two complaints was rectified in latter versions, and the second one may be more of a personal preference sorta thing. Postage was painfully slow to Australia, but that is what it...

Well, I'm in Australia and he shipped here no worries. That being said, he's not shipping anything anywhere at the moment as he's working on the next version.

    The Nomad From Morwood

So, I haven't actually seen many reviews on the function of this thing, cos 99% of the time it's about the looks, so this is good to hear. I assumed I'd get on with it, having used unregulated vapes before, but am still unsure how a typical session goes. Do you ride the button? Or just hit the...

Anyone got tips to grind wet bud other than "air it out"? I haven't had issues of it clumping together, but it does just roll around and not grind. Should I use a coarser plate?

For what it's worth, I love how beaten up my fw7 is. I use it multiple times a day, it has been on some wild adventures, and the "scars" it's aquired just make me love it even more. I'm sure the same will happen with your toad!
