The capsules on the four got hot, but they never roasted me the couple of times I used my mates. Edit to add: we know nothing about these capsules so this is all speculation on my part.

I've had mine since before the firmware update. I have given no fucks as to how I hold it (and am somewhat confused as to what actually is the method described above), and it's still going fine. I'm more worried that I've charred the wood from just doing screen cleaning burn offs.

I mean, I pick it up and take it outside, and do throw it in a bag to go to friends houses. But yeah, I dunno if I'd take it camping. Battery life isn't stellar either (can be mitigated cos it features a removable battery, still, I'd consider it annoying if I was hiking). Honestly, the one hike...

Okay, everyone keeps saying that, but what does it entail? Cos I literally have no idea how that works. Has the way you buy anything changed? Cos I've bought stuff before where you pay *after* the order has gone through and been confirmed, but those ordering scenarios were the same as normal...

I can't contribute. I set mine to 11 with the included PSU, it drops to 10.7. I leave it there. I get baked. This is reminding me all over of when I got my p80 and fw7 first try and feeling really bad about people having a bad experience...

Is there a thread for this stuff? Cos when it comes to electronics, I am very dumb. I can rebuild a motor, done some minor plumbing, but electricity? It scares me. Also, I'm in Australia, that always seems to fuck shit up for me in this regard...

He has had some misses (the fw6, which I *was* gonna buy cos it fitted my usage). But it's usually a hit. Also, can anyone help, ever since I removed the screen for a cleaning, my screen occludes really quickly.

I mean, there is super minimal cleaning involved if you use it upright either. I blow it out every 10bowls or so. There will be at most, 7 particles that are easily blown out.

It's not undoable. The whole process of pulling the screen, torching it, then reseating it takes about ten minutes. I use a tool I got with my SB to seat the edges just right. Just make sure you properly seat it and you'll be roses.

It's a bit of a pain. There is a little ledge that you've got to seat the screen in. My first time doing it, I blew out the next spent bowl and the screen went with it. Since then, I've been a lot more vigilant with seating it and run a couple of bowls through it to get it a little sticky and...

As to your edit, yeah, I am jonesing for the fw8 too. I just believe he should get a fair shake of the sauce bottle.

Is it though? I mean, I may be patient, I am a eventually to be nomad2 owner, so maybe my patience is better than some. But I still don't think Marc has done the community wrong by not being more involved. It's a testament to the product he produced that there is so little reason for him to stay...
