The Mighty/Mighty+ by Storz & Bickel

I think before my mighty really needs duck tape I'll send it finally in or I'll drive down to "Tuttlingen" myself and try to swap it out immediately. But since it would cost me some € to drive down there, I should better buy a vapman for some distraction. Cheaper and less time consuming for...

    Discontinued Pax 2

I hope you don't mind I snapped your post und quoted you in the pax thread... It's not only shipping, but VAT is 19% and customs will charge me another ~10% which makes around 370$ in total, shipping excluded. I love the sleek pax housing but IMO it's not worth 400$. Authorized resellers aren't...

The Mighty/Mighty+ by Storz & Bickel

117xx is my serial, I have an older unit which works great so far (apart the broken housing). I simply grab it tight when in use to make a seal again but I'm already dreaming about a new, clean and dust-free mighty. Haha thx for the motivation for sending the mighty finally in but I'll abuse it...

    MiniVAP Vaporizer

I have that data from the manufacturers themselves, for S&B units it can easily be found on their homepage. Hermes claimed to have a laminar air flow at max 16l/min. I did some calculation on the MV myself with the dimensions of the heater and air path I have and after my findings it could be...

The Mighty/Mighty+ by Storz & Bickel

I'm sure it would have been only a matter of time until you would have used the mighty's CU on the crafty! ;) First time I had this whistling sound after I sliced the o-ring with the hologram. Same effect, better air draw but whispy vapor with the unwanted carb hole... Then it was a deformed...

    MiniVAP Vaporizer

@FlyingLow MV = 16 l/min S&B Plenty = 30 l/min S&B Portables = 10 l/min Volcano = effortless (no draw resistance) [l/min] => [liter per minute] Doesn't it depend really much on the core you are using? Sipping is IMO not possible at all with the TCMV (at least with visible vapor). It takes a...

@Marky , did you use a clean CU on the crafty? Also make sure the sieves aren't clogged... I can confirm the crafty's single battery has problems with holding temps but I can produce similar clouds with both devices when the crafty has at least half of the battery level left.

    Crafty/Crafty+ by Storz & Bickel

My Unit is from last year, serial around 2000. I remarked the periodic dimming also while observating the lights and hadn't any problems so far. I guess it's the heater maintaining temps. This pulls enough energy to affect the brightness of the LED. It happens only when the green LED is on and...

    Discontinued Pax 2

@Ojan_at_PAX , is it true you are going to expand to Europe until September 2015? I found a shop claiming to have the original pax 2 and accessories until September. I could make a preorder already now, so it would be nice to know if the reseller is legit and their pax 2 has full warranty. Thx...

    Crafty/Crafty+ by Storz & Bickel

Sadly we don't know exactly how much wattage the unit pulls to keep up temps when drawing on it after the first initial heat up. This should play I role, too, and I would think it uses the whole 27w available... Edit: @WakeAndVape , I'll try to answer your question in general. With nearly every...

    Crafty/Crafty+ by Storz & Bickel

Interesting thoughts here in this thread... I'll try to add what I mean to know with my non-technical English vocabulary: In general it depends a lot on the isolation provided by the housing, the thermal conductivity and the mass of the heater (combined with the wattage the power source can...

    MiniVAP Vaporizer

Hello MV fellows  Long time no see! Guess who had finally a repaired TCMV in the mail Thursday? Back again to share my experience after a hard testing over the week end... After opening the box I inspected my unit and I still have enough to rant about the sharp plastic edges, the...

I prefer simple steel wool, I give it a quick ISO wash before use to remove any machine oils. But Magic Eraser shouldn't be poisonous, neither. At least of you don't vaporize remaining particles...

    PLENTY Vaporizer

I already realized not everybody here in the forum has the time and the patience to understand my ironic posts... I can assure you I read the thread and also s&b FAQ more than once, on German and on English ;) But it's ok, at least you had a laugh... :peace: @tjsop If you want simply a darker...

    PLENTY Vaporizer

I don't even have a plenty. I don't know what I'm doing in this thread by myself :D At least we added some posts to the very short plenty thread. Ah, I always forget that I'm a part of a minority here on the forum using the metric system!

    PLENTY Vaporizer

Conduction or convection aren't technologies. Those are different ways for heat transmission like you already knew for sure. (The influence of radiation is often forgotten). Every vape uses conduction and convection (and radiation) in different percentages, not only s&b vapes. Why should this...

    PLENTY Vaporizer

I don't have a plenty so I'm not going to pick a fight with you, but I had a volcano for almost a year and I can tell you for sure s&b product lines aren't comparable between them. It's pretty much like apples and oranges, different vapes with different signatures. Of course inhalation technique...

    PLENTY Vaporizer

Comparing the number of draws different vapes can deliver ,even with the exact same amount of material, to estimate extraction or whatever is nonsense. Simply because of different vapor densities and extraction styles. Also temperatures of different vapes aren't really comparable. Even with 2...

This could be already a good technique to avoid a "dry" throat. Takes more time to finish a bowl but works very well. When drawing long and directly into your lungs, perhaps try to draw under your tongue or on your teeths. This also can avoid the harsh feeling in the throat. Just let your bud...

The Mighty/Mighty+ by Storz & Bickel

:lmao: You could try to load the bowl tighter with a finer grind and/or vape at higher temps to get a better "hot air to vapor ratio". your temp range seems good to me, so it could be grind or used material. Do you vape cured bud? Personally I prefer really dense vapor with less hot air and a...
