Anyone else get a hot mouthpiece with the short stem on long draws? Got pretty warm on orange and pretty damn hot on red.

    The Arizer Air

Better efficiency, clouds, draw resistance, and taste (although taste starts to drop off as you go thtough the bowl) Less maitenance and smell. If I get more than one spare battery, it will be better in battery life, too. I won't be using my Pax in the near future. A definite upgrade, imo...

    The Arizer Air

I think I heard someone mention using mflb battery caps to seal Air stems for travel. Do they fit snugly? Or are there any alternatives? Also, can anyone provide links for the screens they use?

    The Arizer Air

Just tried it for the first time tonight. I'll refer to this as the retirement party for my Pax.

They're on the right inside the white cardboard that runs along the side. Almost fooled me, too! @akwardsauce

I haven't been able to try it yet but I will say that the LED lights SUCK big time. I'm color blind and the color coding is just poorly done IMO. Hopefully I can work through that. Also, I would recommend at least 2 burn-in cycles. First one had a robot fart smell and on the second it was...

    The Arizer Air

The top of mine unscrews without any trouble. Edit: Tried inserting stem and giving a dry pull with no herb. Restriction wasn't bad at all, although once I put some material in the bowl, it should add a bit. I'm happy that the airflow seems significantly better than the Pax so far, which was a...

Wow! I think I'm going to like this thing. Can't wait til it's charged.

    The Arizer Air

It has come! I can say I'm somehow still shocked at the size despite all the vids and size comparisons. I guess there's nothing really like seeing it in person and holding it in your own hands. I'd post a pic in a little bit but a bunch of people already have. Has anyone shown a pic next to a...

    The Arizer Air

 Although I couldn't think of an exact model, I was totally thinking it looked like a ribbon mic. Also, I gave into temptation and ordered. Can't wait to get some Air!

I hope some more users receive theirs today, so they can post their thoughts. A lot of us stragglers itching to bite on the last day (I think) of the sale.

    The Arizer Air

I'm actually thinking about getting an Air to replace my pax. It's good and gets the job done but it's not very efficient, the taste isn't great, lots a draw restriction, and the high setting comes a bit too close to combustion. I don't even use the avb because it smells weird and is practically...

So I guess it's a good idea to get a spare battery. Not familiar with the 18650 battery type; should I purchase it from Arizer with the vape or order elsewhere? Arizer doesn't really give any exact specs on the battery, but it's priced higher than lots of the ones I see on Amazon.

I know but I'm holding off at the moment to hear some more info from the firsties. If I order, I'm sure it will be at 11:59pm Monday, when I can no longer talk myself out of it.

Does the skin serve as heat insulation and is it necessary? Since it comes with the clear/shite skin, I might get a black skin if I decide to buy because stealth is important to me. Also, a lot of people including me were questioning whether the price would lower when you can purchase from...

    Discontinued VapeXhale Cloud EVO

Here's a thought that just randomly popped in my mind... Vapexhale seems to have a bit of an aversion to accurately discussing heat up time. I mean, I get that 10-15 minutes is a long heat up time for a lot of people. But there's a problem I see mostly with people who probably recieved their...

    The Grasshopper

Sorry if my point didn't come across. I was attempting to satirize some of the condecendig attitudes going on in this thread. No need to discuss it further. :peace:

But what of the claims they made, from the start, of its performance (i.e. battery life)? Kind of tough to believe when they're a year off their proposed completion date. Well, maybe not unless this wasn't combined with the fact that they clearly tried to make it look like they were very close...

Discontinued Loto Labs Lux (formerly Evoke)

Not sure if it would matter, but wound strings have a steel core. Only the outer wrapping is nickel. Also, flatwound strings would be less abrasive than roundwound if wrapping around a scratchable surface like glass.
