    Discontinued The Grasshopper

This is really interesting. I've only ever charged my GH through my laptop and (assuming) the buzzing has always been there (I only noticed it about a month ago, after the magnetic piece). My only other option would be an iPhone brick, which from what I recall also had the transformer buzz. Glad...

Battery 1 from Oct. 5th. They to test something, they sent me an extra battery (which I paid them for to keep), maybe sometime in November? I can't quite say there, sorry. These new batteries I got in January... the 15th or so. Battery 1 and 2 were treated like shit to be completely honest...

I think it depends on the cell life. My 2 worn batteries charge in 20 minutes exactly from red flashing lights. The two week old batteries take about 45 minutes (this is all from i4).

I usually go at 75%, but I wanted to make sure that you were decent at halfway. I have gotten in a bad habit of only vaping it for about 3-4 hits and then changing. AVB is dark tan, but I know it still has some left. Make for potent avb later on :P Sorry to hear about your color. Bright blue...

You may be packing too much, which is making you need to breathe much harder than you should need to (firm, but not tight air restriction). Your stomach would definitely hurt after use if you gulp vapor into your belly. That's my guess as to what's happening. IIRC the MFLB can hold soooo much...

    Discontinued The Grasshopper

Don't feel bad about making warranty requests! I literally sent 14 e-mails to caroline in one night after my body was having some problems. Despite what it seems, I do think they want to make their customers happy :P I had also asked them to do e-mail troubleshooting in case the warranty is too...

Ye ole percussive maintenance. I should have tried this a while back, though they didn't tell me to try that.

    Discontinued The Grasshopper

This is what was happening to me on my old body. I'd misclick and it wouldn't quite register correctly, and in time it became more problematic. I've misclicked a couple of times since and not had any problems, so I think it's limited to the body. It'd be worth shooting their support an e-mail...

    Discontinued The Grasshopper

This happens on the charger, it's normal. If you listen, both the metal and the USB transformer buzz as well. Like your backend, I ***think*** it is how you screw in the backend, too tight or too loose and I notice that the backend will heat up very very quickly. However, just by unscrewing...

    Discontinued The Grasshopper

Normally I do take hit, turn it off until I want another (anywhere from 2 minutes to 30.). However, even if I take three hits in a row without turning it off it doesn't get hot in the way you described. Maybe she just has a low pain tolerance  I will say every now and then on my old units...

This seems odd to me. Even 3-4 back to back hits on 5 my body, nor the backend, get hot in the way you described...

    Discontinued The Grasshopper

The quote he did was the one I forgot to post from the I4 manual. I wonder if it's a difference between the two. Note about my batteries, the two old ones charge 25 minutes faster than my new ones, even with both of them started charging at the same time, with being finished off at 5. That...

Can confirm, Arizer Air isn't even at temp on the first setting and I will have finished a bowl in the Hopper.

    Discontinued The Grasshopper

Maybe closer to 8. .15 is the max my GH can fit, and it doesn't have good airflow so the middle is darker, etc. I go between 2 or 4 Arizer Air stock stem loads in the GH, and get at least 3 good hits on each temp. If I hit if for like 30 seconds or more in one hit then that wont be the case, but...

I wouldn't be surprised, GH creates a ton of reclaim oil.

Evo is just a little less harsh, but very similar. I think the extra length really helps it. I've used the Grasshopper with the EVO's glass mouthpiece (not the waterpipe), and just like when I used my Air stems, the vapor production was very good. Much cooler, taste was very good, all around...

    Discontinued The Grasshopper

@SlinginPaint, your good battery sounds about right on the dot for time a single battery lasts. @bobo305, as far as I'm aware, every backer who has received theirs, broken or not, has had a functioning Grasshopper at some point. If it is broken, it isn't forever lost. Were you to order now I'm...

    Discontinued The Grasshopper

The auto-shut off detects when there is no draw, or soft enough so that it doesn't register. If you pack it too tight it can easily shut off even if you're drawing very hard. This wont really be an issue for anybody though. I have 2 mouthpieces (shipping error to my benefit), and I change them...

    Discontinued The Grasshopper

I don't think it affects the performance positively or negatively. My only waterpipe at the moment is the Vapexhale Turbine Hydrotube and the Grasshopper clouds it better than the EVO itself at the moment. Also, I've just noticed that all of the AVB with the new batteries was very very dark...

    Discontinued The Grasshopper

That's normal from the magnetic piece, I've also recently found that the transformer(?) next to the USB also buzzes, but haven't asked GHL if that's normal but I imagine it is. I'm no expert on batteries, but my old batteries barely last 1 full load. If it were really cold theoretically there...
